John Terry undoubtedly remains one of the biggest names in UK football. Former Captain of England, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, John was known for his aggressive tackling, positioning, exceptional leadership skills, and unique ability to read the game. He made almost 500 appearances for Chelsea over 19 years and won everything there is to win in the game. He also won 78 caps for England, appearing at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, and 2004 and 2012 Euro Championships.
After retiring from professional football playing, he became involved in managing for clubs including Aston Villa, Leicester, and Chelsea.

Considered one of the greatest central defenders of his generation, John Terry was named UEFA Club Defender of the Yer in 2005, 2008, and 2009, and was also named Player of the Year in PFA Players’ List. In 2006, he became the only English player to make the all-star squad in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. To this day, he remains Chelsea’s most successful captain, leading them to titles including five Premier Leagues, four FA Cups, and three League Cups.
John left Chelsea in 2017, joining Aston Villa for the 2017/18 season. He went on to play 32 games, reaching the Championship play-off final before retiring from professional football. He returned to Villa as an assistant manager and helped the club achieve promotion.
Away from football, he has become a familiar pundit and commentator on television, including working for the BBC and Sky Sports.
