Nathan Osafo is the Director of Operations at Au Milieu, a pioneering service that provides infant mental health support to families and early year professionals.

He is responsible for the business management, development, and support of the service, identifying local needs, working with clinical leads, referral pathways, and finding innovative ways of working.

He is also a certified Personal Trainer with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, specialising in helping high-performance professionals achieve their health and wellness goals.

His PT methodology is rooted in a profound understanding of the demands professionals navigate in today’s dynamic landscape, as well as a passion for empowering people to thrive.

Nathan Osafo often refers to his own personal challenges as a catalyst for his professional journey.

In 2012, he suffered a severe football injury which fractured his leg in five places, requiring a full reconstruction of his tibia, fibula, and ankle.

He spent five weeks in the hospital, and the long, gruelling recovery took a significant role on his mental health.

Struggling with loss of motivation, low self-esteem, and depression, he was unable to participate in any sport or exercise for a long time.

Over the next year, he underwent extensive physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and personal strategies, including relationship difficulties.

But it was the support of a close friend in the fitness industry that helped Nathan push himself to rebuild his strength, mindset, and body.
