Simon Lazenby is the lead presenter of Sky Sports’ Formula One coverage, having previously presented their cricket and rugby coverage.

He has spent two decades presenting at Sky Sports, having been the lead presenter for their cricket and rugby coverage, becoming their anchor for Sky Sports F1 in 2012.

He is a proud advocate and supporter of the CLIC Sargent charity, now known as Young Lives Vs. Cancer, which focusses on children, young people, and their families.

Simon Lazenby has always loved sport, playing for his University rugby club, but initially worked as a grain trader for a private firm, before attending work experience at Sky. He began presenting for Sky Sports in 2002 as part of their live coverage of Rugby Union matches.

Simon has been the lead presenter of Sky Sports F1 since its inception in 2012, presenting every Grand Prix, with the exception of the 2020 Spanish and Russian Grands Prix, totalling over 160 races. The channel has won the International Broadcaster of the Year award twice since 2012.

In 2025, Simon produced the Sky documentary film Hill, which told the story of the 1996 F1 world champion Damon Hill. In the same year, he published his book Pressure: How the People Who Power Formula One Thrive at the Limits, in which he gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at the people who power the sport.
