Kate Mason is an award-winning broadcaster and presenter for TNT Sports with over a decade’s experience presenting live sport. She currently leads the network’s cricket and mountain bike coverage, and recently won critical acclaim for her work presenting the England men’s Test tour of India.

As well as her focus on cricket and mountain biking, she has also covered the Paris Summer Olympics – a full-circle moment from being inspired by Britain’s female broadcasters of London 2012 to make this her career.

She also contributes to The Metro newspaper, exploring social and human issues through the lens of sport. She has also appeared on the BBC Radio 4 series How to Spot Potential, and her SJA Award-winning Inside the Qatar World Cup.

Kate Mason is a highly respected TV and radio presenter, event host, and columnist. Her love of sport started early, and she even captained the University of Cambridge’s squash club to national finals whilst she was studying English Literature.

She started reporting on squash before joining the BBC, working for BBC Radio London and BBC Radio 5 on their comedy panel show Fighting Talk. She has also worked on ITN, Eurosport, Talksport, beIN Sports, and Sky Sports News.

In 2020 she joined The Football Ramble, a podcast about association football. Alongside this, she presents The Football Ramble Book Club, and the interview show The Drop In, where she interviews guests like former England manager Glenn Hoddle. She released the audio documentary Inside the Qatar World Cup alongside the Football Ramble podcast, and it went on to win a bronze award at the 2023 British Sports Journalism Awards.

In 2024, she anchored TNT Sport’s coverage of England’s test series in India alongside former England player Sir Alastair Cook, before being part of the Discover+ coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

She has achieved many milestones in her career, including being the first woman to present a men’s Test series for UK TV (TNT Sports’ coverage of 2024 India Tour), and was the first broadcaster to be shortlisted for Columnist of the Year at the Sports Journalists’ Association Awards 2024.

Kate has supported a number of charities, including:
